   <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="spa">Este artículo presenta un modelo matemático para la optimización de una cadena de suministro global con consideraciones de cupos de compra y periodos de pago, formulado como un problema de modelación dinámica determinística y de programación lineal. El modelo representa una cadena de suministro para una locación fabril nacional y proveedores de suministros internacionales. Comúnmente en los procesos de modelación de cadenas de abastecimiento no se han considerado los cupos de compra ni los periodos de pago como restricciones dentro del sistema, ni las restricciones de capacidad en volumen y peso de los medios de unitarización de carga; pero estas son condiciones reales en los procesos de negociación y restringen sustancialmente el sistema.&#xd;
Se presenta una aplicación del modelo a un caso real de la industria nacional con una mezcla de veinticuatro tipos de materias primas, con cuatro proveedores internacionales, cada proveedor con unos cupos de créditos y periodos de pago preestablecidos en negociaciones.</dim:field>

with considerations of purchase quota and payment periods, formulated as a problem of dynamic modeling and linear programming. The model represents a supply chain for a national industrial location and internationalsupply providers. Processes commonly used in supply chain modeling does not take into account the consideration of purchase quota and payment periods within the system as constraints or capacity constraints in volume and weight of the mass load unitization, however these are actual conditions in the processes of negotiation&#xd;
that substantially restrict the system. It presents an application of the model&#xd;
to a real case of the national industry with a mix of 24types of raw materials, with four internationalsuppliers, each supplier with a quota of credits and payment periods predetermined in previoustrade negotiations</dim:field>
