Abstract

The audit was carried out following the structure mentioned in ISO 50002, with the main objective of implementation, followed by specific objectives such as structuring the procedure for conducting the audit, identifying and quantifying opportunities for energy savings and finally integrating the audit procedures. Energy to the energy review process of ISO 50001, the contribution that this work can make to the company is the reduction of energy costs in its process and the reduction of tons of CO2 emitted into the environment by the consumption of electrical energy. In this work it was possible to update the information of all the electrical components of the company, focused on inductive loads, thanks to this the loads by processes were obtained in a precise way which facilitated the selection of the motors to be audited, in this case it was In account, the power and operating time of the engine, also the impact it had on the production process, taking into account the previous variables, savings were estimated for each production line based on production data dating from 2018 and rates up-to-date power supplies, making savings more accurate. Likewise, the energy management system installed by the company was used, which yielded very relevant information and was of vital importance when analyzing the energy costs of each process, however, the audit was not only productive in scope, The administrative and lighting processes were also analyzed, finding potential savings in these areas. To conclude, the tons of CO2 that would be emitted if the improvement were to be implemented were estimated for each potential savings, thus having a job with economic and environmental benefits
