Diseño de un sistema de gestión ambiental para el Centro Médico Fundación Huellas, bajo la norma técnica colombiana ISO 14001 del 2015.

Abstract

This work is developed the design of the Environmental Management System (SGA) based on ISO 14001 of 2015, for the Fundación Huellas Medical Center, one of the entities providing the health service in the municipality of Piendamó, Cauca. To realize the design of the SGA there was realized, initially an information compilation about the environmental management of the Medical center, like also the current Colombian regulation like frame referencal, information necessary for the contextualización and later construction of the initial environmental diagnosis. In the diagnosis all the environmental intéres aspects were recognized in the organization, across the identification of the activities and services given in the different ones of de medical center. A prioritization of identified environmental aspects and impacts was then carried out, and an assessment of these, using the grove methodology as a tool. The results obtained in this evaluation allowed to recognize the aspects of greatest environmental importance, such as waste management and energy consumption, and thus propose environmental programmes derived from the execution of activities and processes within the medical center. An environmental policy was also formulated in order to generate a solid monitoring and control bease to environmental aspects from all areas involved. This program was designed in order to be implemented in the future by the Fundación Huellas Medical Center, in order to take a positive impact on the environment and recognition at the national level
