Estudio de pre-factibilidad para la implementación del centro integral para el cuidado del adulto mayor en la fundación “El Cottolengo del Padre Ocampo”

This document proposes a pre-feasibility study for the El Cottolengo del Padre Ocampo Foundation in which the profitability of an investment project oriented to the implementation of the Comprehensive Center for the Care of the Elderly with payment capacity was analyzed. This with the purpose of favoring the Foundation's self-sustainability and generating economic resources to continue with the attention to the vulnerable population that currently receives the services offered by it and that by 2018 amounted to 300 people, lacking economic resources to pay for this type of services.
The study focused on a project to open an investment unit, referring to the construction of a building that will have 14 rooms aimed primarily at families and / or older adults who have the ability to pay to enjoy a room either individual or shared and receive the respective attention and care by personnel specialized in gerontology. The theoretical and conceptual references focused on topics such as: pre-feasibility studies as well as the existing methodologies for this.
This project presents an investigative study that aims to assess the pre-feasibility of the project in question, helping the foundation to make decisions, in order to improve income and continue to help older adults, who benefit from this, through: Define the demand, prices and strategies for the economic support of the project, technically evaluate the requirements for the implementation of the project and financially evaluate the pre-feasibility of the project
