Abstract

The objective of this work is to know the perception of the elderly and retired people about the Virtual Banking implemented by the main banking entities in Cali. This initiative is proposed in order to examine the Virtual Banking that Banco Davivienda, Banco de Bogotá and Bancolombia de Cali have implemented for their respective clients; study the knowledge of the elderly and retired for the use of Virtual Banking in technological devices; especially in the cell phone; identify the motivations and intentions of the elderly and retired for the use of Virtual Banking and determine the positive and negative aspects of the use of virtual banking, based on the opinion of seniors and retirees who have Virtual Banking mechanisms . To analyze the results of this research, a method of gathering information called "Focus Group" was carried out, through which we seek to implement improvements in customer service, meet the needs, demonstrate the level of knowledge of our study population and know the advantages of using smart technologies and cell phones in the financial field
