Diseño mecánico del simulador de vuelo de la aeronave Calima T-90 para la Escuela Militar de Aviación

This study is about the mechanical design a full flight simulator with 3 degrees of freedom, carried out for the EMAVI, from the conceptual to detailed design. Initially a model of the cabin is proposed based on the original design of the Calima T-90C aircraft, at the same the commercially available platform are explore as references in the design process, among these it is decided to adapt a pneumatic platform developed in Cuba by the Izaguirre engineer, changing the actuator system by a servomotor-reductor assembly, connected to a crank connecting rod mechanism for the transmission of movement. Later, it is decided to reinforce and stiffen the structure of the cabin in order to ensure correct operation under statics and dynamics loads that interact during the simulation. With the Xplane program, a simulated flight is performed in which the most critical maneuvers of the aircraft are executed, from which the position, velocity and acceleration data are extracted. Implementing this data in a dynamic analysis, the measurements of the platform are optimized
