The “Red de Salud del Centro E.S.E” is committed to the provision of health services through the hiring of competent personnel and an optimal infrastructure, providing comprehensive care with safety and quality. Focused on strengthening the culture of continuous process improvement, allowing change to be more effective, efficient and adaptable to the needs of users.
The network is the first ESE of low complexity in Cali and the southwest of Colombia to be accredited, granted in the visit made by the accrediting body in 2016, obtaining a conditional accreditation, a situation that leads to an improvement plan among which It finds the lack of follow-up of corrective, preventive actions and improvement plans, no identification of patient risks, lack of reporting of adverse events and incidents, among others, improvement plans that were attacked since the strengthening of the institutional program of technovigilance giving it a proactive approach.
Taking into account the above, improvement strategies were implemented such as: Prioritization of the critical medical devices of the services of the Primitive Iglesias Hospital and the Ambulance Pool in order to determine the highest risk devices, based on the AMFE risk management methodology, by means of which the committee and improvement plans for intolerable risks were established, included in the proactive techno-surveillance manual. Finally, training was given to the assistance and operational personnel related to the institutional program of technovigilance and the culture of the report
