Abstract

This project is a sample of a practical and theoretical work, where knowledge, skills and abilities obtained in the biomedical engineering training process were applied, allowing an analysis of the electrical safety in the biomedical equipment and the patient environment in the areas of surgery rooms, emergency, hospitalization, outpatient and dentistry of the IPS Clinic Comfacauca Puerto Tejada, with the purpose of making an adequate diagnosis and improvement plan to minimize the potential risk of failure of biomedical equipment during its life cycle taking take into account the regulations and legal standards in force.
